Meet Santa event to raise money for local families in need

Make A Friend of Louisa is hosting a “Meet Santa” fundraiser the first three Saturdays in December from noon– 6p.m.

All funds raised during the event will go toward providing Christmas gifts for local families in need through Coalfield Family Services of Fort Gay.

Children can meet Santa, receive a printed portrait with Santa, and make a Christmas craft with an elf, each activity requiring a $3 donation.

Make A Friend is located at 206 E Madison Street next to Dee’s Drive Inn.
