LC Youth Football League to host father-daughter dance fundraiser
The Lawrence County Youth Football League (LCYFL) will be holding a Father Daughter Dance on June 15th as a fundraiser to support equipment and operations purchases for the league.
The cost for the event is $25.00 per dad.
If you would like to register, simply contact Heather Compton, Cheer Coordinator on Facebook or athacompton6@gmail.com.
The league hopes to hear from as many as possible who plan to come to ensure we have ample refreshments for the evening. The league also welcomes those who decide last minute to come, as all payments will be taken at the door.
LCYFL works to afford opportunities for youth 5-12 years old to participate in competitive football and cheerleading with other communities in the tri-state area. LCYFL is a member of the Tri-State Youth League (TSYFL), reaching from Martin County, KY to Cabell County, W.Va.
We continue to grow each season, and hope to continue on this path of success with continued community support. Funds raised will help to purchase helmets, pads, practice equipment, cheer uniforms, competition fees, league insurance, and more.
LCYFL appreciates those who have already donated, (Platinum Supporters- TRMC and Todd Case Trucking), and hope to have successful sign-ups for the remainder of the summer.
If your child would like to participate in this upcoming season and are between the ages of 5-12years (age on August 1st) please watch and like our FB page, Lawrence Co. Youth Football League, for reminders and updates. Sign-ups are available for football and cheer during July conditioning for football.
July conditioning begins July 9 at 6 p.m. at the LCHS football field.
All first-year football participants are required to provide an original birth certificate, which will be returned after submission of official rosters to the TSYFL. Cheer participants will be required to provide a copy of each cheerleaders birth certificate.
The cost to participate is $50.00, and discount offered to families who have siblings wishing to be a part of the 2018 Fall season.
